NOOOOOO IAAAANNNNTOOOOO NOO WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIIIIEEEEEE DDDDDDDDDD:
Although I knew it was going to happen (I read a review beforehand) and although I could see it coming a mile away (Seriously "Are we a couple?" and "You're going to watch me die someday"?) it was still so SAAAADDD.
Also, I kind of liked the old guy with glasses- Mr Frobisher, who I nicknamed Frobi, and I cried so much when the prime minister told him that his kids were going to be part of the 10% that get given to the aliens, and then he went home and killed himself and his family. That little speech that Miss Spears gave to Lois about how "John Frobisher was a good man" made me cry inside (and outside). It's not everyday when you get a TV show saying that ministers and politicians are a actually real, human beings who can be good people.
And on the subject of politicians, I am never, ever going to trust that government again. EVER. Thanks a lot, Torchwood.
Also, Jack Harkness is an evil bastard who killed his grandson and then ran away rather than facing the conseqences. When his daughter came in and gave him that look I thought she was about the punch him. But she didn't, even though he totally deserved it.
In other news, the series had lots of awesome parts, especially in the last part. I thought I would never say this, but those welsh chavs were AWESOME. They went up against ARMED soldiers armed with only bricks and balls of steel, just to protect the kids. Also, PC Andy went up against them as well! I really liked it because he'd spent the whole episode trying to work out what he shouls do as a policeman, and BAM, he does the Right Thing and punches out a soldier.
So yeah, five hours of my life spent watching this, and now I'm going to be miserable for a week. I really shouldn't have watched all five eps in a row.
